Purpose: This Tulsa Tech Education Foundation (TTEF) Educational Scholarship of Excellence is established on student’s program performance based on grades, attendance, and leadership.

 

TTEF has aligned with industry partners who provide funds to recognize outstanding students in a specific cluster. Scholarships are awarded to these outstanding students through an application and interview process, subject to available funds. Instructors and Counselors are encouraged to nominate and assist applicants.  TTEF does not discriminate because of race, color, national origin, age, sex or handicap. Scholarship of Excellence are awarded to current TTC students only.

Award: Scholarships will not exceed $1,000 per student, per school year. It is suggested that awards be used for educational purposes.

Payment Disbursement: Award checks will be sent to the student directly. Checks will be valid for 60 days.

 

Deadline: The deadline for scholarship applications is November 15 for the first semester and April 15 for the second semester. Only ONE application per student.   

 

To be considered for a TTEF Scholarship of Excellence you must:

 

1. Complete the scholarship application in full. [emailed applications are preferred]

2. Include a letter of recommendation from a Counselor or Instructor.

3. Include a one-page essay describing your career goals and why this scholarship is important to you.

4. Include grades and attendance report from the Registrar. [at least 4 weeks of attendance required]

5. Be available for a panel interview during the first week of May (or December, depending application date).
